Is your innovation the next winner of the 30 000€ Innovation Award?

Fortum’s recycling technology utilizing vehicle batteries, UPM’s nanocellulose, Neste’s biofuel, and Orion Pharma’s medications for treatment of prostate cancer and Alzheimer’s. All these innovations have won the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland’s Innovation Award. Is yours the next one?

Does your invention have commercial potential, or is your innovation already in the market? We are now looking for small and large innovations.

The Chemical Industry Federation’s €30,000 Innovation Award is awarded every two years to industry players whose work has resulted in a world-changing invention. The award is a great opportunity for companies, universities, and research institutions to make their work visible and compete for a significant sum of money to further develop their projects.

The purpose of the Innovation Award is to encourage industry players to create and develop new products and services that are meaningful for the well-being of people and the environment. We want to encourage all industry players to participate because every innovation is important.

The application is now open in two categories:

Category 1: commercially promising inventions

Category 2: commercialized innovations

The finalists and winners will be selected by the Innovation Group of the Chemical Industry Association. The deadline for participation in the competition is March 30, 2024.
