Kemira 100 years – watch the video and read more

Kemira celebrated the company´s 100th anniversary on 26 March 2020. To celebrate the anniversary, Kemira has produced a fascinating video about its history and highlights during decades.

The video contains the roots and origins of Kemira, starting from state-owned sulfuric acid and superphosphate plants in 1920´s, facing the depression era, war time and the long recovery from it, the era of focusing on chemistry, internationalization and stock exchange listing. During the past years Kemira has followed a new strategy shifting focus to hydrochemistry and water-intensive industries.
