The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland has a new look – website and email addresses also change

The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland has adopted a new logo as well as new website and email addresses. The new look was unveiled at the Chemical Industry Federation’s 70th anniversary celebration on 26 November 2013. The look was designed by the award-winning Helsinki design agency Dog Design.

“The look and the logo represent the Chemical Industry Federation as an organisation and chemistry as an industry. Chemistry is all around us and it’s an integral part of a good life. We need chemistry wherever we want to be at the cutting edge and to act responsibly. As an organisation, we want to be straightforward, modern, progressive, reliable and dynamic,” explains the Director General of the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland Timo Leppä.

“The Federation’s new logo speaks for itself: it boosts visual communication and makes the organisation more distinctive. The chemical industry is one of the most significant export sectors in Finland and is progressive as an industry,” says Chemical Industry Federation Communications Manager Susanna Aaltonen.

Ilona Ilottu, designer and one of the founders of Dog Design, is pleased with the finished product. “Chemistry is a natural science and is also part of the solutions to global issues. The new look had to be reliable, distinct and positive,” says Ilottu.

New email addresses: firstname.surname@kemianteollisuus.fi

For the time being, the old addresses ending with “chemind.fi” will be redirected to the new “kemianteollisuus.fi” addresses.
