Chemical detectors are used for the analysis of various types of samples. In recent years, the use of such detectors has increased substantially in continuous measurements in the chemical and biotechnology industries, monitoring of the status of the environment and in medicine.

The solution based on conductive polymers makes it possible to construct a fixed detector. The operation of the detectors becomes simpler, resulting in substantial maintenance cost savings. Also certain intelligence can be integrated in the detectors based on the new innovation, allowing them to monitor their own condition and to execute simple measurement operations automatically.
